Job summary

People Encouraging People in Rockville, MD is seeking an ACT Team Program Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering community-based care to individuals with serious mental illness, reducing hospitalizations and promoting stable, independent lives.

You will hire, supervise, train staff, manage budgets, and ensure high fidelity to the ACT Model of Care, while coordinating with partners and supervising clinical operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing, or related field.
• Three years’ experience working with adults with chronic mental illness.
• License in a Mental Health Profession in Maryland.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, and train staff; perform evaluations and disciplinary actions as required.
• Direct day-to-day clinical operations, scheduling, and adherence to agency policies.
• Lead morning meetings and weekly clinical reviews to meet client needs.
• Direct admission and discharge processes; assign cases to team members.
• Provide clinical supervision and weekly supervision of all staff.
• Monitor documentation and ensure accreditation requirements.
• Coordinate referrals, intake, and orientation for new clients.
• Monitor medications and health concerns for clients.
• Manage budget, billing, and grant expenditures.
• Develop departmental policies as required.
