Job summary

Terros Health is seeking an ACT Peer Support Specialist for our 23rd Ave Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves active direct treatment and advocacy within the ACT team, with 80% field work and 20% in the facility.

Required are a state Peer Support Certification and a flexible schedule, with bilingual Spanish a plus. Mileage and travel duties are part of the position, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma with 3+ years behavioral health experience.
• Associates degree in behavioral health or higher.
• Bachelor's degree (not BH) with 1 year BH experience or.
• Bachelor's in BH or higher (MH/behavioral health).
• Master's or higher in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct treatment, rehabilitative and supportive services in a community setting to clients served on the ACT Team.
• Works with ACT team to assess client needs and develop individual service plans.
• Serves as lead client advocate and mentor within the team.
• Discloses personal mental health experience to inform service provision.
• Acts as liaison between clients, families and community agencies.
