Job summary

DoorDash Labs is seeking a skilled FPV Pilot for on-site testing at our Bay Point, CA facility. You will perform hands-on drone testing, calibrations, and data-driven feedback to improve next-gen UAS tech. Collaboration with flight engineers is essential to ensure system reliability and performance.

The role requires 100+ hours FPV flight, 1+ year acro mode VLOS experience, and FAA Part 107 certification. Working hours are Mon–Fri, 8:00–4:30, at Bay Point, CA.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.
• 100+ hours of FPV flight time logged.
• 1+ year acro mode flight experience in VLOS.
• Demonstrated multi-rotor UAS operations experience.
• Proven FPV flight control in manual/acro mode.

Responsibilities

• Operate UAS platforms in acro mode within VLOS.
• Conduct test flights, calibration routines, and performance evaluations.
• Provide data-driven feedback to engineers on flight performance and controls.
• Maintain detailed logs of flight hours, aircraft condition and anomalies.
• Support FAA Part 107 safety compliance and internal procedures.
• Participate in system validation with PX4, ArduPilot, Auterion, and Herelink.
• Contribute to design reviews, prototype evaluations, and test readiness.
