Agent Aspirant Opportunity – Steve Woodrum's State Farm Agency

Georgetown / Frankfort / Lexington, KY · Full-time · Independent contractor track

This is an opportunity within Steve Woodrum's independently operated agency – not a corporate State Farm position. The goal is agency ownership. You’ll be working toward running your own business, not becoming a State Farm employee.

What the role involves

• Developing client relationships and selling auto, home, life, and financial products
• Hitting production goals and building a track record that demonstrates you can run your own book
• Completing any remaining licensing requirements – costs reimbursed for unlicensed candidates
• Learning agency operations – the business side, not just the sales side

Licensing – Where You Stand Matters

Strong advantage – already licensed. Active property & casualty and/or life & health licenses in Kentucky (or a state with reciprocity) means you hit the ground running.

Series 6, 63, or 65 licenses are a major plus. Candidates with active securities licensing move to the front of the line – this expands what you can offer clients from day one and accelerates the path to an independent agency.
