Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking an Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst-Journeyman to support DoD program acquisition activities in Orlando, FL. You will help prepare acquisition documentation, budgets, and cost analyses for mission-critical programs.

Role requires several years of defense procurement experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects while communicating effectively in writing and orally.

Qualifications

• Must have approximately three (3) or more years of experience with Defense Department acquisition policies and procedures or like experience.
• Project management or program management that includes: implementing policy, coordinating complex Navy procedures, and developing project budgets.
• Knowledge of and experience with Government contract and procurement procedures including new contract actions, contract modifications, and product procurement to ensure all life-cycle support requirements are satisfied.
• Ability to coordinate and integrate the work activities of several different projects at any one time.
• Communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing in working out solutions to problems or questions relating to the Acquisition program.
• Experience with and working knowledge of MS Excel required

Responsibilities

• Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA).
• Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
• Support accounting and compliance with policy and NAWCTSD procedures to examine, verify, maintain, and reconcile accounts and accounting data.
• Prepare and analyze budget and accounting reports. Examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation, compliance with regulations for goods and services provided to or by the Government.
• Support budget analysis and administration by maintaining ledgers; formulating budgets; and compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data.
• Assist in the formulation of budgets and cost estimates to support plans, programs, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities, review and evaluate budget requests, control, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
