Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC in Orlando, Florida seeks an Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst-Journeyman to support a government customer. You will develop procurement documentation (AP, ASR, PID, SOW, CDRLs) and assess procedures for compliance with contracts and mission requirements.

The role requires DoD cost estimation knowledge, budgeting, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects while communicating effectively. Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Approximately three or more years of experience with Defense Department acquisition policies and procedures.
• Project management or program management including policy implementation, coordination of Navy procedures, and budgeting.
• Knowledge of Government contract and procurement procedures including new contract actions and life-cycle support.
• Ability to coordinate and integrate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective oral and written communication for acquisition programs.
• MS Excel experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supports development of program acquisition documentation (AP, ASR, PID, SOW, funding documents, CDRLs, APBA).
• Assesses procedures for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
• Attends and reports on briefs, papers, meetings and review boards.
• Supports budget analysis and accounting reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Forms budgets and cost estimates to support plans and programs, and presents them to authorities.
• Develops cost analyses, schedules, and performance measures to aid decision making.
• Applies DoD cost estimating principles and advanced techniques.
• Plans and directs analytic efforts of a group of analysts.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
