Job description

Job Description

The Acquisition Integration Lead is the primary technology point of contact for an assigned acquisition(s) and is accountable for bringing the overall technology integration together from early planning through transition and stabilization.

This role sits at the intersection of program, process, people, and technology. The Acquisition Integration Lead translates the needs of the acquisition(s) into a coordinated technology integration strategy, establishes the integration roadmap, connects the right GTech teams to the work, and drives alignment across infrastructure, enterprise applications, security, data, architecture, and other technology domains.

This is not simply a project management role. The successful candidate must be comfortable operating in the grey, creating structure where the path is not fully defined, understanding dependencies across multiple technology areas, influencing teams they may not directly manage, and driving decisions when there are competing priorities or incomplete information.

The Acquisition Integration Lead acts as the quarterback between the acquisition and the broader GTech organization, ensuring the acquisition has one clear technology contact and that GTech teams have a coordinated view of the acquisition's priorities, requirements, milestones, dependencies, and risks.

Skills and Requirements
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation, integration, or M&A programs.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and incomplete information.
  • Strong program management discipline without approaching the role as simply a PMO position.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn strategy and loosely defined requirements into an executable roadmap.
  • Broad understanding of enterprise technology environments, including infrastructure, applications, data, security, identity/access, integrations, and operations.
  • Strong understanding of dependencies and sequencing across technology workstreams.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and delivery teams without direct authority.
  • Strong executive communication and the ability to simplify complex technology issues into clear decisions.
  • Confidence challenging assumptions, dates, ownership, and delivery commitments.
  • Strong judgment around when to resolve an issue directly versus when it requires escalation.
  • Ability to balance the needs of the acquired organization with GTech standards, priorities, capacity, and constraints.
  • A practical, hands-on mindset with the ability to move comfortably between leadership-level conversations and detailed delivery discussions.A strong Acquisition Integration Lead can walk into an acquisition where the path is not fully defined and quickly:
  1. Understand the business and technology landscape.
  2. Determine who needs to be involved.
  3. Establish the integration approach.
  4. Build a credible roadmap.
  5. Clarify ownership and decision rights.
  6. Identify dependencies and risks.
