Job description

Job Description

The Enterprise Applications M&A Delivery Lead is accountable for coordinating and driving enterprise application delivery across the M&A portfolio, providing a single point of accountability for application delivery commitments, system PM capacity, cross-application dependencies, sequencing, readiness, and delivery recovery.

This role sits between the GTech M&A portfolio, Acquisition Integration Leads, system PMs, application owners, and the broader functional and technical delivery teams.

The Enterprise Applications M&A Delivery Lead takes application demand generated by multiple acquisitions and turns it into an executable delivery model by determining what systems are impacted, who owns each implementation, what capacity is required, how the applications need to be sequenced, where dependencies exist, and whether committed dates can realistically be achieved.

This is not a status consolidation or PMO role. The successful candidate must understand enterprise application delivery, be comfortable operating in ambiguity, and have enough delivery experience to challenge plans, identify missing dependencies, resolve cross-system conflicts, and drive teams toward committed outcomes.

The role provides Acquisition Integration Leads with one accountable applications delivery partner rather than requiring each acquisition to independently navigate multiple application teams.

Skills and Requirements
  • Enterprise application implementation and integration, coordinating multiple business-critical platforms within a broader transformation or integration program.
  • HCM / HR technology delivery, including experience with platforms such as Oracle HCM or comparable enterprise HR platforms.
  • CRM integration and transformation, including customer, opportunity, account, or related business-process transitions.
  • Finance and ERP-related delivery, where financial applications, business processes, data, integrations, or reporting are impacted.
  • Service management platforms, including ServiceNow or comparable enterprise workflow platforms.
  • Identity and access dependencies, particularly where application onboarding depends on accounts, roles, provisioning, authentication, or access controls.
  • Data migration and conversion, including extraction, mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and load dependencies.
  • System integrations and interfaces, understanding how upstream and downstream applications affect sequencing and readiness.
  • Testing and deployment, including SIT/UAT coordination, defect management, production readiness, cutover, and stabilization.
  • Application rationalization and target-state planning, helping determine how acquired applications transition into the enterprise environment.
  • Multi-system dependency management, understanding how changes in one application can affect other platforms and the overall integration roadmap.
  • Vendor and implementation-partner delivery, coordinating internal application teams with third-party providers where needed.
  • Operational transition, ensuring applications move from project delivery into sustainable production support.

A strong Enterprise Applications M&A Delivery Lead should be able to look across the acquisition portfolio and answer:

  1. Which applications are impacted by each acquisition?
  2. Who owns each system implementation?
  3. Do we have the PM and delivery capacity required?
  4. What are the committed system milestones?
  5. How are the systems dependent on one another?
  6. Where are data, integrations, access, testing, or infrastructure driving the critical path?
  7. Which acquisitions are competing for the same application resources?
  8. Which system plans are credible and which need recovery?
  9. What needs leadership intervention?
  10. Can the application portfolio support the acquisition's overall integration date?
