Job description

Technical Lead – M&A Integrations | Hybrid | $150,000–$165,000 + 15% Bonus

Our client, a growing financial services and technology organization, is seeking a Technical Lead to drive technology integration and vendor consolidation across multiple recently acquired firms. This high-impact role ensures that mergers and acquisitions translate into operational scale—creating a unified, secure, and efficient technology ecosystem.

This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong integration expertise and a passion for turning complexity into clarity. The role offers long-term growth potential and the chance to shape the firm’s digital platform strategy supporting independent financial advisors and investors.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct technical due diligence on acquisition targets—analyzing existing systems, integration challenges, and security risks.
  • Develop and lead integration strategies and migration plans to unify vendor technologies, infrastructure, and data.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to achieve a consistent, high-performing tech stack.
  • Oversee vendor selection, relationship management, and contract negotiations to ensure scalability and compliance.
  • Guide the integration of third-party platforms into core digital systems, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Champion a data-driven product approach, applying analytics and feedback to improve advisor and investor engagement.
  • Define KPIs for adoption and satisfaction and iterate processes using those insights.
  • Conduct occasional travel to newly acquired firms to support onboarding and post-merger integration.
What You Bring
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Lead, or Integration Manager.
  • Strong understanding of advisor-facing or investor-facing platforms and digital ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to link strategic goals with technical execution.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project tools.
  • CSPO certification (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Background in M&A consulting, systems integration, or financial technology valued—especially from firms such as Deloitte, Accenture, or similar environments.
  • Hybrid schedule: Onsite 4 days per week with Fridays remote.
  • Individual contributor role at the outset, with potential to build leadership responsibilities over time.
  • Newly created position supporting a period of active growth and acquisition activity.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technical strategist who thrives on integration, execution, and transformation within the fintech and wealth management landscape.
