Job summary

Omega Morgan is seeking an Assistant Controller to drive the accounting integration of acquired entities into the company’s systems in Hillsboro, Oregon. The role focuses about 70% on technical accounting and integration, with the remaining 30% supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and ongoing accounting activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and applying guidance to complex transactions.
• Experience with accrual accounting, lease accounting, fixed assets, cash, A/P, A/R, and revenue recognition.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and fluctuation analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Assess acquired entities’ accounting records and gaps relative to GAAP.
• Develop and execute accounting integration plans.
• Support integration into general ledger, COA, and close calendar.
• Research GAAP guidance and document conclusions with practical recommendations.
• Train acquired entity staff on accounting systems, controls, and reporting.
