You will build and maintain detailed financial models, underwrite targets, and support due diligence, playing a hands-on role in evaluating and executing acquisitions under senior leadership guidance.

Work closely with the Chief Development Officer in a fast-paced M&A environment, contributing to a growing pipeline and transaction execution.

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed organization in Scottsdale that is expanding its M&A and corporate development capabilities.

This is a highly visible opportunity to work closely with the Chief Development Officer and play a hands‑on role in evaluating and executing acquisitions. The position will combine financial modeling, underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution , making it an excellent opportunity for someone who wants direct exposure to an active acquisition strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for potential acquisition opportunities
• Underwrite acquisition targets and evaluate financial performance, valuation, and deal economics
• Support financial and operational due diligence throughout the transaction process
• Analyze prospective acquisitions and help identify key opportunities and risks
• Assist with deal execution and transaction-related analysis
• Prepare analysis and materials to support acquisition and investment decisions
• Partner closely with senior leadership throughout the acquisition process
• Help support a growing M&A pipeline in a fast‑paced, PE‑backed environment

What We’re Looking For

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Experience with M&A, corporate development, investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, or a similar deal‑focused environment
• Experience with due diligence and/or acquisition underwriting
• Ability to analyze financial statements and understand key business drivers
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present financial analysis
• Comfortable working in a high‑growth environment with multiple priorities
• Hands‑on, self‑motivated mentality with an interest in being directly involved in transactions
