Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline is preferred but can be waved with 10 years of experience.
  • Experience with DoD, Navy, or federal programs is required or highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
  • Experience with FMEA and ABS DPS/R2 notations is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Support development, design, integration, and production-level engineering of ship design products.
  • Provide integration support for vessel radiated noise requirements and mounting/mitigation solutions.
  • Coordinate design with government stakeholders, program offices, shipyards, and technical teams.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and system assessments.
  • Contribute to quality and cost-effectiveness in shipbuilding processes.
