Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking an Acoustical Sales Specialist to provide in-depth product knowledge on drywall, insulation, acoustical systems and related building materials for the drywall industry.

You will build relationships, process orders using the company system, collaborate with Outside Sales Reps, overcome objections, and maintain accurate sales records while delivering exceptional service to customers in the Orlando area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• A 4-year degree is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers.
• Use the company computer system to enter orders; complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
• Overcome objections of prospective customers; emphasize product/service features, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
• Maintain customer accounts and complete sales administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, sales, and pricing.
