Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Rapid Response/Code Team to provide hospital-wide emergency response and clinical guidance. The role includes direct patient care, education to staff, and collaboration with interprofessional teams.

Requires a Nursing Diploma/Associate's, RN license, and ACLS certification. Minimum 2 years in critical care or ED; night shift availability. Memorial offers comprehensive benefits and Magnet-designated nursing excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care or ED experience.
• ACLS certification.
• RN license.
• Night shift available: 7:15PM–6:45AM.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness/injury management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Engages in professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans with defined goals with the interprofessional team, patient, family or caregiver.
• Communicates the plan of care across the continuum of care.
• Assesses patient needs (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural) and respects patient preferences.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness.
