Everence Services is seeking an Operations Specialist to manage ACH processing, overdraft activities, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and risk mitigation in daily payment operations.

The role requires 1–3 years in deposit operations, proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in deposit operations or related financial services.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process ACH files, postings, balancing, and settlement verification.
• Resolve ACH exceptions, returns, NOCs, stop payments, disputes within timeframes.
• Monitor overdraft activity and process related items per policy.
• Research and resolve member account discrepancies and payment issues.
• Prepare and process charge-offs, adjustments, and refunds as applicable.
• Process ACH originations in third-party portal.
• Complete monthly ACH reporting.
• Assist branches and departments with ACH/overdraft questions.
• Support audits, examinations, and process improvements.
