Job summary

Capital One’s Enterprise Payment Operations is seeking a Sr. Director, ACH Operations to lead the ACH network strategy and day-to-day processing. The role is hybrid, with on-site presence required at designated office locations in Virginia.

You will oversee risk, compliance, and performance across file processing, returns, and exceptions, partner with ACH teams, drive automation, and represent Capital One in NACHA and industry forums as a top user of ACH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience required.
• NACHA certifications preferred.
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certifications encouraged.
• 3+ years leading through technology transformation in operations.
• 10+ years leading strategic initiatives in payments/operations in a large org.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day ACH network processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead risk, compliance, audits, incidents and exams for ACH operations.
• Drive simplification, automation, and modernization across ACH processes.
• Partner with ACH initiation teams across Capital One lines of business.
