Job summary

Customers Bank is seeking an ACH Specialist to process daily ACH activity, monitor transactions for anomalies, and support reconciliation and dispute handling. You will work with compliance, risk, and operations teams to ensure accurate, timely processing in a regulated environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of ACH experience, strong knowledge of NACHA rules, and excellent attention to detail. A banking/financial services background and solid customer service skills are essential for

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of NACHA operating rules and SEC codes.
2+ years of ACH processing experience.
Experience in banking or financial services environment.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Process daily ACH activity including origination, returns, and exception items.
Execute daily batch control jobs related to ACH and process exceptions as needed.
Perform daily reconciliation of ACH activity and resolve discrepancies.
Process incoming disputes from the Fraud Department.
Handle stop payments and unauthorized ACH transactions per NACHA rules.
Respond to inquiries about ACH transactions, rules, and processes.
Maintain records in compliance with regulatory retention for ACH documentation.
Ensure adherence to laws including Regulation CC, BSA, OFAC, CIP.
Collaborate with compliance, risk, and operations teams to support audits.
Other duties as assigned.
