Job summary

Patriot Bank, N.A. is seeking an ACH Operations professional to support daily processing, reconciliation, and notifications. The role focuses on monitoring activity, handling disputes, and ensuring efficient onboarding for new customers and partners.

The ideal candidate has an AAP certification, 5 years of NACHA experience, and strong Excel/Word skills. Travel and collaboration with partners may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred in banking/financial services.
• Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification required.
• 5 years’ experience with NACHA rules and regulations, preferably in digital payments.
• Computer proficiency with MS Excel and Word; strong accuracy and organization.

Responsibilities

• Support daily ACH processing, reconciliation, returns, exceptions, and notifications.
• Monitor ACH activity, volumes, limits, and return rates; escalate issues as needed.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for ACH questions from employees, customers, and partners.
• Assist onboarding of new ACH customers and partner onboarding; handle limit requests.
• Research and resolve ACH disputes, exceptions, returns, and operational issues.
• Assist with NACHA rule updates, training, and communication to employees and customers.
• Prepare ACH reports for management, the Board, NACHA, and other stakeholders.
• Support annual ACH originator reviews and risk assessments.
• Coordinate ACH audit and examination requests and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with Fiserv and other partners to resolve ACH issues.
• Maintain ACH procedures and process documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve ACH reporting, monitoring, processes, and controls.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual ACH processes and reporting.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
