Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a detail-oriented account specialist to maintain existing accounts and process new applications. You will ensure data accuracy in line with governance standards and serve as the point of contact for account-related issues.

Responsibilities include updating customer data in SAP, handling credit applications, tax exemptions, and resolving shipment issues. A HS Diploma or GED and 2–5 years of experience are preferred. No travel required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service via phone, email, and chat for account updates and inquiries.
• Creates and maintains customer account data in SAP, including billing, shipping, and purchasing information.
• Serves as primary contact for account-related issues; partners with internal teams to resolve concerns.
• Processes customer credit applications.
• Validates tax exemption documents and codes tax exemptions in accounts.
• Investigates undeliverable shipments and updates shipping information.
• Maintains quality and departmental metrics.
