Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accounts Receivable Team Lead to guide a growing AR function, manage aging and collections, resolve complex account issues, and drive process improvements across the order-to-cash life cycle.

The role partners with customers and internal teams, provides reporting to leadership, and supports staff development, requiring strong Excel skills and SOX awareness in a public company environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Accounts Receivable, accounting, finance, or order-to-cash
• Prior team lead, supervisory, or mentoring experience
• Strong knowledge of AR processes, aging management, collections, and order-to-cash lifecycle
• Experience with a large ERP system
• Intermediate to advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience resolving customer disputes and complex account issues
• Ability to analyze AR data, identify trends, and drive process improvements
• Understanding of SOX in a publicly traded company
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Lead AR team and oversee aging and collections activity
• Resolve complex account issues and disputes
• Monitor collection results and provide reporting to leadership
• Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and performance
• Partner with customers and internal teams to ensure timely cash settlement
• Support staff development and coaching within the AR function
