Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist - Part-Time

System One is actively seeking an Accounts Payable Representative for a part-time position working onsite in Broken Arrow, OK.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the full cycle of accounts receivable, including the receipt and accounting of all funds paid to the organization. This role involves tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues, maintaining the collections process daily, and applying customer payments to the correct accounts. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will generate and maintain accurate aging reports while working to collect past-due balances.

This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to proactively identify and implement process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent communication and time-management skills, and a willingness to adapt to change.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Applies customer payments
• Researching and solving payment discrepancies
• Maintains an accurate aging report. Makes daily collection calls
• Send statements to customers with past due balances
• Adjust accounts as needed
• Prepares daily manual and electronic (ACH/EFT) deposits
• Processes new account requests as well as new sites maintaining a standard set format
• Maintains AR activity using service calls when issues are found
• Willingness to adapt to change and recommend new ways to improve efficiency

Minimum Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 2 yrs. of college preferred or equivalent work experience.

Experience, Training, Knowledge:

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience in related field preferred
• Proficient in collections processes

Office Equipment and/or software knowledge:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365- Outlook, Excel and Word
• SAP B1, or similar ERP Software

Work Environment:

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
