Job summary

Contract Lumber seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for its Pataskala, Ohio location. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday in first shift with overtime as needed.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, vacation, holidays and more. You will process cash receipts, deposits, and payments, run AR reports, resolve cash application issues, manage billing portals, and contribute to process improvements while supporting the accounting

Qualifications

• Accounting/bookkeeping background with AR exposure preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organization and deadline-driven work ethic.
• Accurate data entry with proficient spreadsheet use.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process customer lockbox cash receipts, wire deposits and credit card payments.
• Prepare special A/R customer reports as needed.
• Investigate cash application issues to solve internal and external problems.
• Manage online billing portals and prepare daily cash reports.

Day to Day:

• Process customer lockbox cash receipts, wire deposits and credit card payments.
• Prepare special A/R customer reports as needed.
• Investigate cash application issues to solve internal and external problems.
• Manage online billing portals.
• Prepare daily cash report and credit card transactions summary.
• Identify areas/opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provide back-up to other accounting department duties and/or projects.

• Preferred Experience:
