Encore Fire Protection in Pawtucket, RI seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support day-to-day receivables for our growing service business, partnering with Operations, Service, and Account Management to keep communication clear and cash flowing.

You will train on tools like Sage, ServiceTrade, and Esker while managing invoicing, remittance, and reporting workflows, and you will own AR responsibilities across multiple locations as you contribute to accurate aging and timely collections.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or related role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and data validation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and multiple AR systems.
• Highly organized with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Team-player mindset and willingness to grow with the company.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and maintain aging reports.
• Partner with Operations, Account Management, and Service teams to resolve billing issues.
• Identify uncollectible balances and prepare recommendations for write-offs or collections.
• Analyze payment trends to support collections strategy.
• Support process improvements, including automation and reporting enhancements.
• Handle inquiries and assist with special AR projects.
• Communicate with customers to collect past-due balances.
