Job summary

Everest Recovery is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support AP, AR, and cash management in a remote role. Candidates must reside in Rhode Island or Massachusetts and will report to the Accounting Manager within the Home Office.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, AR billing, cash reconciliation, and coordinating with Revenue Cycle and operations. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 with benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (AP, AR, cash applications).
• Experience with accounting software and Excel.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple workflows.
• Candidates must reside in RI or MA.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Prepare and distribute monthly Piccoli Family Office invoices and CAM bills.
• Record and reconcile daily cash receipts across multiple locations.
• Allocate and reconcile company credit card transactions.
• Post third-party payments in the EHR system and ensure data linkage.
• Prepare annual 1099s and support audits.
