Encore Fire Protection is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team at our Pawtucket, RI headquarters. This hands-on role focuses on managing receivables, coordinating with Operations, Service, and Account Management, and keeping aging reports accurate.

You will learn our systems (ServiceTrade, Sage, Esker) and contribute to cash-flow health, collections, and process improvements, while delivering reliable, customer-facing support and timely reconciliations.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or related accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and multiple systems.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with ability to manage priorities.
• Proactive mindset and curiosity to learn new AR processes.
• Team-focused; eager to grow within a safety-conscious company.

Aufgaben

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and maintain aging reports with proactive follow-up.
• Partner with Operations, Account Management, and Service to resolve billing issues.
• Identify uncollectible balances and advise on demand letters or write-offs.
• Analyze payment trends to support collections strategies and reduce DSO.
• Support process improvements, automation, and reporting in AR.
• Handle inquiries and assist with special projects for the team.
• Maintain accurate documentation across systems.
