J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Lowell, Arkansas is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to ensure accurate invoicing and timely application of payments for lower-complexity accounts.

You will collaborate with JB Hunt staff and customers to resolve billing issues and improve processes. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years of related experience; an Associate's degree in Finance or Business Administration is preferred.

Formación

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of education/experience/training.
• Preferred: Associates degree in Finance, Business Administration/Management, Communication, Transportation Logistics, or related field with 1-2 years of experience.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn software quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Accurate and timely invoicing.
• Respond to inquiries and complaints regarding billing, identify root causes and solutions.
• Direct application of customer payments to outstanding invoices.
• Audit billed charges for validity and adjust as needed.
• Obtain missing documentation to meet billing requirements.
• Reach out to customer contacts for payment status.
• Reduce outstanding accounts receivable for assigned customers.
• Set up automated aging reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and meet goals.
