Golden State Communications, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist I to join our Accounting team.

This role handles customer invoicing, accounts receivable, sales tax administration, collections, and account reconciliations, supporting daily accounting operations with accuracy and customer focus. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day AR tasks, resolve routine issues, and escalate complex matters to accounting management as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Two to four years of accounting, billing, accounts receivable, collections, or customer accounting experience required.
• Experience with an ERP system; NetSuite experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices from sales orders accurately and timely.
• Generate rental event invoices and ensure billing is completed per terms.
• Email invoices and supporting documentation to customers.
• Process customer payments and respond to payment inquiries.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and account issues.
