Job summary

Wheaton World Wide Moving seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage outstanding payments and monitor past due accounts. You will reconcile receivable discrepancies, respond to invoice inquiries, and prepare daily bank deposits in a hybrid in-office setting.

The role requires understanding basic accounting, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to handle high volumes of paperwork. High school education or equivalent suffices for this position.

Qualifications

• Understanding basic accounting principles and accounts receivable procedures.
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OneDrive/SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Resolve discrepancies (overpayments/short payments) in receivable accounts.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding balances and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts and transactions.
• Respond to customer inquiries and disputes regarding invoices and payments.
• Pull Dun & Bradstreet reports, Secretary of State records, and other financials for credit analysis and approval.
• Prepare daily bank deposits.
