Job summary

Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage high-volume billing, post to our accounting system, and provide AR reporting to locations and management. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities include daily cash receipt recording, lien/bond status monitoring, and reconciliation of cash activity with the general ledger. Experience with accounting systems and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of billing or AR experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with accounting systems/software preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work proactively.

Responsibilities

• Review billing documents for accuracy and post to the company's accounting system.
• Provide weekly AR reports to jobsite locations and management.
• Monitor lien and bond claim statuses to ensure compliance and timely filing.
• Record daily cash receipts from wire transfers and mobile deposits.
• Reconcile and report cash activity against the general ledger.
• Maintain and organize AR and general accounting documentation.
• Assist the Job Cost Accounting Manager with various tasks as needed.
• Perform additional duties within the organization as assigned.
• Interact with internal departments and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.
