Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a legacy company’s accounting team in Michigan. You will process payments, follow up with customers, and assist with reconciliations and month-end close.

The role requires an accounting degree or equivalent experience, plus strong Excel, attention to detail, and excellent communication. This onsite position offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equal work experience.
• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable will be highly valued.
• Advanced Excel skills – including filters.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter payments; apply cash to customer accounts.
• Perform friendly follow-up calls to customers on accounts.
• Respond to customer inquiries and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close – reconciliations, journal entries.
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Payroll.
