Control Southern, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team in a primarily office-based role with hybrid work options.

You will maintain customer accounts, drive collections, and support a superior customer experience while working with our portal integrator for invoice delivery. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AR, a BS degree or equivalent experience, and strong Excel/Outlook skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; comfortable with databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer-focused.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate setup of new customer accounts.
• Assist in establishing customer credit limits.
• Manage collection and maintenance of assigned accounts.
• Post customer payments and maintain collection notes.
• Collaborate to resolve invoice disputes with internal teams and customers.
• Prepare and distribute customer invoices and statements.
• Assist with monthly reporting, including Over-90 reviews.
• Revise and reissue invoices as needed; support portal delivery.
