Expeditors International is seeking an Accounts Receivable Agent – The Americas in Irving, TX. The role focuses on managing accounts receivable activities to ensure timely payment of invoices within a full-time, yearly compensation framework of USD 40,000–60,000.

Responsibilities include monitoring open invoices, identifying AR risks, facilitating collections, and maintaining accurate customer profiles. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and strong MS Office (Excel) skills are required,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in accounting and/or industry.
• Technically proficient with strong accounting, analytical, financial modeling, and research skills.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts for timely collection of all open invoices.
• Review data to identify AR risk, unresolved payment issues, gaps in processes, and payment trends.
• Provide visibility to credit and collections status, high-risk areas, and issues.
• Update internal systems with detailed collection notes listing actions and timely follow-up.
• Reconciliation of accounts and maintain AR customer profiles.
