Job summary

Spindrift, Newton, MA, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support cash flow and customer experience. Responsibilities include cash application, AR record maintenance, and resolving deductions in a fast-moving CPG environment. Collaboration with Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service is key.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years AR experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. This on-site role requires proximity to Newton, MA and a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience in CPG/food & beverage or wholesale environments.
• Experience with cash application and account reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadline-driven work.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Intermediate Excel skills (sorting, filtering, pivot tables, lookups).

Responsibilities

• Process incoming payments and apply to customer accounts; research unapplied cash.
• Maintain AR schedules and reconciliations for month-end close.
• Resolve deductions and short pays in collaboration with Sales and Logistics.
• Assist with credit memos and maintain audit trails for adjustments.
• Ensure internal controls and documentation standards; support audits.
• Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and improve reporting.
