CFS in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist – Construction to support high-volume billing and project-based accounting. This onsite role offers growth within a respected construction company and exposure to complex receivables management.

You will collaborate with accounting and project teams to ensure timely billing, accurate cash postings, and clean month-end closes, contributing to strong financial operations and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in construction or project-based industry.
• Experience with high-volume invoicing and collections.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume customer billing and ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time.
• Prepare accounts receivable aging reports, reconciliations, and payment analyses.
• Monitor customer accounts and conduct collection activities while maintaining positive client relationships.
• Apply cash receipts, process deposits, and reconcile customer payments.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate customer account records within the ERP system.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, and accounting teams to ensure timely billing and collections.
• Assist with month-end close by reconciling accounts receivable balances.
