CFS is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist – Construction in Indianapolis, IN for a fully onsite role. The position handles high-volume billing, project-based accounting, and collections within a growing construction operation.

You will collaborate with a seasoned accounting team and contribute to accurate financial records and timely cash flow. Ideal candidates have 2+ years AR experience, proficiency with SAP or similar ERP, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years AR experience, preferably within construction or project-based environments.
• Experience with high-volume invoicing and collections.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP system.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume customer billing and ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time.
• Prepare AR aging reports, reconciliations, and payment analyses.
• Monitor customer accounts and conduct collections while maintaining relationships.
• Apply cash receipts, process deposits, and reconcile payments.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate customer records within the ERP system.
• Collaborate with project managers and accounting to ensure timely billing and collections.
• Assist with month-end close by reconciling AR balances and preparing docs.

Key Responsibilities
