Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or general accounting functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar systems.
• Excellent data entry skills with ability to analyze Excel spreadsheets for reporting purposes.
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes alongside receivables management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices with accuracy and completeness.
• Track open customer balances, follow up on outstanding payments, and help maintain healthy cash flow.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts receivable records.
• Partner with the customer service team to ensure high levels of service.
• Investigate billing variances and resolve account discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized customer account details and support reporting accuracy.
• Prepare customer aging reports and identify trends.
• Assist with month-end close activities and related journal entries.
• Provide backup support for accounts payable as needed.
