Job summary

Auburn Gear is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support invoicing, cash receipts, and collections. Reports to the Controller and handles credit memos and remittance processing to improve receivables performance.

Key duties include account analysis, month-end tasks, and collaboration with customer service, sales and management to resolve discrepancies. Prior AR/ERP experience and strong Excel skills preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related college coursework preferred.
• 5 years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Experience with ERP programs is helpful.
• Familiarity with Google Chrome, Microsoft Office suite and 10-key by touch.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing and processing of cash receipts.
• Collections of past due accounts and reducing days in receivables.
• Process credit memos and authorize credit card sales.
• Post daily lockbox remittance deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Analyze customer accounts and resolve remittance discrepancies.
• Communicate with customer service, sales and management to resolve issues.
