SMTC Corporation seeks a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage complex AR activities, support timely collections, accurate cash application, and month-end close. The role collaborates with Program Management, Sales, Treasury, and Finance to drive cash flow and account accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of AR experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and experience with ERP and Excel in a manufacturing/EMS environment. On-site role based in Melbourne, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Accounts Receivable, collections, cash application, or related finance experience.
• Experience utilizing ERP and financial systems, Microsoft Excel, and related AR tools.
• Experience working with cross-functional partners to resolve complex billing and payment issues.

Responsabilités

• Manage assigned customer accounts and complex receivables, including balances, activity, aging, disputes, and credits.
• Perform advanced collection activities and engage stakeholders to improve payment performance.
• Analyze AR aging and trends to identify risks and escalation needs.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, unapplied cash, and deduction issues.
• Lead month-end close support, account reconciliations, and reporting for management.
• Provide guidance to team members and collaborate with Program Management, Sales, and Treasury.
