Job summary

Parkway Construction seeks an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support routine accounting practices, process payments, and provide clerical assistance. You will communicate with customers and vendors via email and phone, and collaborate with project managers and other departments to resolve receivables.

The role focuses on improving cash flow, reducing DSO, and maintaining accurate AR records while delivering courteous service to internal teams and external contacts.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable processing and reconciliations.
• Ability to communicate with customers/vendors via email and phone.
• Familiarity with generating aging reports and maintaining AR files.

Responsibilities

• Track and resolve outstanding payment issues
• Generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner
• Make daily collection calls
• Conduct account research and analysis
• Prepare and maintain various reports
• Identify and execute necessary process adjustments
• Reconcile AR to GL
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Lien waivers and joint checks handling
• Utilize accounting software
• Process rush items and follow-up
• Maintain accounts receivable files
• Handle special projects as assigned
