Elemica is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for the Greater Philadelphia Area. The role owns day-to-day AR, from collections to disputes and customer health, using AI and data tools to work smarter and drive value.

You’ll collaborate with Finance Operations and the Controller to optimize cash flow and revenue processes. The position requires 3–5+ years in AR or related finance roles, strong Excel and ERP experience (Sage Intacct), and a curious, process-improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in AR, collections, billing, or another finance/accounting operations role.
• Business acumen: understand how Sales, Billing, Customer Success and Finance connect and impact revenue.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in work, with real examples.

Responsibilities

• Manage the AR portfolio end-to-end, including past-due follow-up, disputes, short-pays and unapplied cash.
• Look past overdue invoices to business reasons and route to the right fix.
• Use AI tools and automation to draft outreach, summarize history, reconcile data, and reduce manual work.
• Build and maintain AR reporting, including aging, DSO and collections trends, in Excel and Sage Intacct.
• Identify repetitive tasks and propose improvements like templates, workflows and integrations.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in the ERP.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success and Billing to resolve account issues; escalate when needed.
• Review contracts to confirm billing and payment terms; update SOPs as processes change.
