Job summary

Modern Auto Group in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage customer accounts, post payments, and keep AR records accurate. You will pursue collections on accounts >30 days, reconcile cash receipts, and ensure deposits are recorded promptly.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• High school diploma or GED; or related experience and/or training.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or related experience and/or training.
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Reconciles and deposits service and parts receipts daily.
• Receipts all monies from vehicle sales and prepares drafts for dealer signature.
• Enters finalized cash receipts and updates AR ledger by customer.
• Prepares AR statements monthly.
• Researches chargebacks, returns, and bad checks.
• Answers AR phone calls and updates customers' account information.
