About the Role

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist reporting to our Team Lead, Billing Operations, on our Finance & Accounting team. This role involves serving as the liaison between our Finance & Accounting function and our diverse customer base, understanding billing processes, and resolving complex billing issues. It's an excellent opportunity for an emerging finance or accounting professional eager to make a significant impact.

What You’ll Do

1. Invoicing: prepare invoices accurately and efficiently in compliance with client guidelines to facilitate prompt payment.
2. Collections: monitor delinquent accounts proactively and contact customers regarding overdue balances.
3. Customer Outreach: communicate with customers to resolve billing or payment issues professionally and promptly.
4. Internal Coordination: collaborate with Customer Success Managers to resolve invoice and delinquency issues.
5. Inbox Management: maintain an organized inbox and respond to inquiries with ownership and urgency.
6. Data Integrity: keep customer records and billing contacts up-to-date.

What You’ll Bring

1. Experience: 1+ years in billing, collections, or accounts receivable preferred.
2. Accounting Knowledge: understanding of order-to-cash processes, aging reports, and foreign exchange rates.
3. Attention to Detail: avoid errors and deliver polished work consistently.
4. Customer Service: experience in a customer-facing role with high service standards.
5. Communication: ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders.
6. Excel Skills: knowledge of pivot tables, vlookup, and report generation.
7. Software Experience: familiarity with or interest in learning platforms like NetSuite, Intacct, or BillingPlatform is a plus.

Pay Transparency

Base pay ranges from $54,000 to $75,000 USD, considering location, experience, and skills. Positions are also eligible for equity grants and possibly additional compensation such as commissions. More details will be shared during the interview process.

Hiring Locations

Currently, we hire exclusively in the U.S. (specific states listed), Hong Kong, and the UK.
