Purpose:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team.

Responsibilities we will trust you with

Success in this role involves:

• Primary responsibility to the BayWa r.e. Operation Services, LLC business, but will occasionally support other legal entities under BayWa r.e. Americas.
• Process and enter all accounts receivable invoices.
• Ensure payment terms and invoicing schedule outlined in contracts are in compliance.
• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices and resolve any billing issues.
• Record payments received from customers.
• Track billable activity in AFRM against data in SAP.
• Communicate with O&M team and management to resolve billing inquiries.
• Create and maintain customer data in SAP.
• Prepare and submit monthly invoices to customers.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for internal review and for customers.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to A/R, intercompany reconciliations and other month-end tasks.
• Assisting with year-end IFRS and GAAP audits.
• Provide occasional support for accounts payable.
• Assisting with other accounting duties as needed.

The ideal candidate demonstrates:

• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
• Experience working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas (preferred).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• A service mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office, accounting software and databases.

• At least 2 years’ accounts receivable experience.
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree.
• Experience with SAP a plus.
• Service industry, commercial real estate, or energy accounting preferred.
