Suburban Automotive Service is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to ensure customer payments are received promptly, applied correctly, and reflected in customer accounts to keep accounting records and cash flow accurate. The role starts at $22 per hour based on experience, with hours Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm.

A High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required, along with strong communication and multitasking skills to manage payments, statements, and aging

Responsabilidades

• Apply customer payments daily via check, ACH, or credit card.
• Answer requests for statements, invoices, and account questions via phone and email when requested.
• Follow up with customers weekly to collect past-due balances via email or phone.
• Communicate with TSMs/Sales Managers to collect A/R aging balances via email or phone.
• Reconcile payments to statements to determine which invoices are unpaid.
• Work with customer support to determine why invoices are unpaid and resolve those issues.
• Process weekly refund checks for credit balances on accounts.
• Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.

As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will ensure customer payments are received promptly, in full, and applied correctly to customer accounts to confirm accounting records and cash flow are accurate and up to date.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities Include:

• Apply customer payments daily via check, ACH, or credit card.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Working Conditions and Physical Demands Include:

• 95% of the time this job will be completed while sitting.
• 5% of the time this job will be completed while walking, standing, and light lifting office materials.
