Job summary

Godshall Recruiting seeks an experienced Accounts Receivable specialist to balance B2B collections with customer service and problem-solving. You will work to resolve balance issues, review credit terms, and collaborate with internal teams to keep orders moving forward.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, or related accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with initiative and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage B2B collection activities on past-due accounts through professional phone and email communication.
• Review and release customer orders while evaluating credit limits and payment terms.
• Partner with sales teams and customers to resolve disputes, invoice discrepancies, and payment-related issues.
• Process credit applications and make recommendations regarding collection actions, write-offs, and account terms.
• Perform credit card reconciliations and assist with cash application activities as needed.
• Support special accounting projects and contribute to continuous improvement within the accounting department.
