Job summary

LHH in Sacramento, CA is seeking an accounting professional with at least 2 years of experience to support accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks. The role is onsite and involves assisting with reconciliations, reporting, and month-end close activities.

You will work closely with the Accounting Manager, handling invoicing, cash applications, and vendor inquiries while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and general accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume accounts payable including invoice review, coding, and vendor payments.
• Support accounts receivable functions including invoicing, cash applications, and tracking outstanding balances.
• Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries related to AP/AR activity.
• Provide general support to the Accounting Manager, including ad hoc reporting and month-end close assistance.
