Job summary

CFS, a leading truck parts distributor and commercial vehicle dealership serving the Central Valley, is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to join our onsite Fresno team. You’ll own collections, payment application, and customer account maintenance while collaborating with accounting, sales, and operations to ensure accurate, timely cash flow.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AR/collections, strong Excel and ERP experience, excellent communication, and a customer-service orientation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable, collections, or related accounting experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service abilities.
• Experience within distribution, dealership, transportation, trucking, or manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts and monitor aging reports to ensure timely collections
• Process cash receipts, ACH payments, credit card transactions, and account adjustments
• Review outstanding balances and proactively follow up on past-due invoices
• Coordinate with sales and service departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer concerns
• Maintain accurate account records while supporting month-end closing activities and reporting

The Opportunity

This role will take ownership of collections, payment application, and customer account maintenance while partnering closely with accounting, sales, and operations teams.
