LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in Benicia, CA to hire an Accounts Receivable professional. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with as little as one year of accounts receivable experience looking to expand hands‑on skills in billing, cash application, and collections while working cross‑functionally with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Entry-level experience or internship exposure in accounts receivable or general accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices in alignment with agreements and internal processes.
• Apply incoming payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) and ensure proper allocation within the system.
• Review aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances through professional outreach.
• Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies or unapplied transactions.
• Partner with internal departments to resolve billing questions or disputes.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Evaluate credit profiles and assist with setting or adjusting credit limits.
• Monitor high‑risk accounts and support efforts to reduce potential bad debt exposure.
• Provide reporting on receivables and collection activity to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices in alignment with agreements and internal processes
• Apply incoming payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) and ensure proper allocation within the system

• Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies or unapplied transactions

• Standard office setting in Benicia, CA

$27.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
