Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP, federal regulatory guidelines, and organizational objectives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets including pivot tables, charts, and formulas.
• Working knowledge of SAP software financial modules.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail when processing large numbers of invoices.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial, administrative, and clerical services and ensure accuracy/efficiency of operations.
• Process and monitor incoming payments, verify and post receipts to customers.
• Record payments to accounts and maintain accounts receivable records.
• Collect information from banks/credit organizations for credit applications and overdue accounts.
• Maintain delinquent account records and assess credit risks.
• Prepare daily cash deposits and cash control sheets.
• Enter finalized cash receipts and update AR ledger.
• Coordinate with sales to gather paperwork for new accounts and verify data.
• Perform collection procedures per SOPs and escalate as needed.
