Job summary

MSI Metro Sales Inc. in Burnsville, MN is seeking an Employee-Owner Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team.

The role supports customer inquiries and collects payments on business accounts, with additional duties including posting payments and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with a positive attitude, and will have experience in accounts receivable and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Make 200+ contacts per week with past due accounts via letters or emails.
• Answer customer service lines, emails, and calls; assist customers with inquiries and issues.
• Participate in personal development activities for self-improvement.
• Potential for additional administrative tasks or special projects as assigned.
• Post checks, credit card and ACH payments; reconcile customer accounts.
• Collect and distribute mail.
• Relocation is not budgeted; local candidates will be given priority.

MSI Metro Sales Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner, Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team in our Burnsville, MN headquarters. This position provides support for customer inquiries, contacting customers and collecting payments on business accounts. Act as a backup on other administrative tasks such posting checks, credit cards, and ACH payments to accounts.

MSI Metro Sales Inc. will provide the support and training you need to personally and professionally succeed in this role.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Ability to make approximately 200+ contacts per week and send letters or emails on past due accounts.
• Answering customer service line emails and phone calls and assisting customers with inquiries and issues.
• Participate in personal development activities for self-improvement.
• Potential for additional administrative tasks/special projects as assigned.
• Posting checks, credit card and ACH payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Collecting and distributing mail.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1+ years prior experience in Accounts receivable
• 2+ years in a customer service call center environment
• Relocation is not budgeted for this role; local candidates will be given priority consideration.
